For being a small mountain town, Bozeman has a surprisingly impressive culinary scene. No matter what budget you're on or how picky you are, there are options for everyone, and the variety is growing by the day. Bozeman has every tasty bite you can imagine, from southern fried chicken to Korean bibimbap; from wood-fired pizza to fresh poke burritos.
It can be hard to choose, which is why we're narrowed down just 5 of our favorite places to dine here. Take your pick from this list and you won't be disappointed — we promise.

We've never had anything we didn't want to eat excessive amounts of here. It's the kind of food that warms you from the inside out, giving you that warm embrace only a hearty meal can give. Think calamari with puttanesca sauce, bright caprese with heirloom tomato and rich, housemade pastas of every variety.
The wine selection is impeccable and there are gluten-free options available to take care of everyone's dietary needs. We suggest making a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. If you forget, don't worry! Servers will set you up with a glass of wine while you wait.

[Montana Ale Works](https://www.montanaaleworks.com/) is certainly a local favorite. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious, and there is (almost) always a wait. The restaurant does a great job of reinventing traditional Americana food with a tasty twist. Try a buffalo burger or one of their great nightly specials, like a hand-cut steak or seafood catch of the day.
We mean it when we say Ale Works is an all-around crowd-pleaser for the kids, mom and dad, the in-laws, and it won't hurt your checkbook. They don't take reservations, but you can join their online waitlist in advance. Or beat the dinner rush and check out the daily happy hour from 4 - 6 p.m. for discounted drinks and small plates like pork belly street tacos.

We know sushi isn't for everyone, but it's a favorite in Bozeman. Seven Sushi's newly renovated space is a great place to take a large group or have a date night over some tasty rolls. Quality fish plays well in both classic and special rolls, as well as poke bowls and seasonal entrees. They also have plenty of options without fish, so even if you have someone in your party who isn't so keen on sushi, they'll have options. Urban Kitchen is a favorite for any meal, but brunch is a standout with $20 bottomless mimosas, massive bloody marys and to-die-for biscuits and gravy.
