Bozeman's music scene is having a moment – and by moment, we mean it's going strong all summer long. Venues are booking acts faster than you can say 'sold out,' festivals keep getting bigger (and louder), and Music on Main is about to kick off its 26th season.
The lineup this year is solid enough to make you forget about your streaming playlists for a while. Here are the Bozeman concerts worth leaving your house for.

Bozeman's diverse music venues have some seriously smokin' hot summer lineups! From world-class country and Americana artists, to reggae, rock, and soul, there's something for everyone.
Notable concerts: Watchhouse on June 27th, Fitz & the Tantrums on July 28th, Beach Bunny on August 18th, and more.
As Bozeman's largest dedicated music venue, The Elm consistently books the biggest names that come through Bozeman. The 1,000-person capacity space, located on 7th Street in Bozeman's Midtown area, is big enough for major touring acts while maintaining a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
Notable concerts: The Red Clay Strays on August 21st and Bonnie Raitt and Jon Cleary on September 1st.
When a big-name artist's tour bus rolls into Bozeman, chances are it's heading to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. This Montana State University basketball arena, located south of downtown, moonlights as the city's go-big-or-go-home concert venue, with artists like Mumford & Sons and The Red Clay Strays gracing the stage this summer.
The Fieldhouse provides that arena concert experience while maintaining the community feel that makes Bozeman special.

The Bobcat Stadium is an outdoor football stadium at Montana State University, and home to its namesake, the MSU Bobcats. This massive venue is located south of downtown.

Located in the heart of downtown Bozeman, The Rialto is a fan favorite. Although the venue doesn't host as many concerts as it used to — it's now primarily a multi-use space, hosting film screenings, art exhibitions, and more — you'll still find the occasional musical act. The Rialto's main stage area, called the Black Box, accommodates 400 people and features a mezzanine overlooking the stage for unique viewing angles.
Beyond hosting some seriously fun Bozeman concerts, The Rialto also houses a German restaurant and beer hall upstairs — Gute Laune — making it easy to grab dinner before a show.

With only 50 seats, Live From The Divide is one of the most, if not the most, intimate concert venue in Bozeman. This cozy venue, located in Bozeman's Northside Neighborhood, specializes in American Roots Music creates an atmosphere that feels more like a private living room concert than a traditional venue.

The Filler is Bozeman's musical dive bar in the best possible way – the kind of place where the beer's cold, the vibe's authentic, and the music hits just right. You can usually buy tickets to most of these Bozeman concerts at the door, which usually cost between $10 and $30.
Located north of I-90 on the way to Bridger Canyon, it's the perfect spot for discovering emerging artists and enjoying live music in a no-frills setting that locals have embraced for years.

Located in the basement of the historic Armory Hotel in Downtown Bozeman, Tune Up Bar operates as an intimate speakeasy-style venue that combines craft cocktails with live performances. With live music four nights a week, from Wednesday through Saturday, there's almost always something going on.
From smaller community gatherings to larger celebrations that draw visitors from across the region, Bozeman's outdoor festival scene proves that some of the best concerts happen under big sky.

The Sweet Pea Festival is one of Bozeman's biggest art festivals, and brings close to 16,000 locals and visitors back year after year each August. This year, the event will be held from August 7-9, 2026, and transforms Lindley Park into a playground for the arts.
The Sweet Pea Festival Main Stage features a dynamic mix of national touring acts, rising indie stars, and regional favorites. From Americana to reggae, folk, country and rock, the music lineup has something for everyone. The best part? When you're done listening to music, check out the art vendors or other live performances, like aerial dance and ballet.

The Big Sky Country State Fair is a 5-day fair set to be held on Jul 15-29, 2026 at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. While the fair encompasses much more than music, the live performances add a soundtrack to the classic American fair experience of carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, and local food vendors.

Alpenglow is a newer country music festival that showcases local talent alongside world-class artists. It's two days jam-packed with excitement for everyone, and takes place August 28th and 29th at Aspen Crossing, right outside Ponderosa Social Club in Bozeman's Midtown area.

For those who prefer their Bozeman concerts free and al fresco, several local concert series will feature favorite local artists and provide many opportunities to hear some great music, eat yummy food, and gather with the community.
Music on Main, Bozeman’s favorite downtown summer party, returns on July 2nd with Float Like a Buffalo. The weekly music jam will run through mid-August and feature several local and regional favorites, like Lost Canyons and The Galentines.
Music on the Green, located on the Bozeman Library's lawn on the edge of downtown, takes place twice during the summer. The first event features Emma and the Ledge, a blues/funk fusion band, on the evening of Sunday, July 26th. Catch the second Music on the Green show the evening of Sunday, August 2nd, where you can enjoy old school country music from Clint Anderson and the Montana Gazette Band.
The two Farmers' Markets in Bozeman both feature live music each week. Check out the Bozeman Farmers' Market on Tuesday evenings from June 16th to September 8th at Lindley Park near downtown, or the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings from from June 13th through September 12th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
The SLAM Festival brings a distinctly Montana flavor to Bozeman's festival scene, celebrating homegrown talent alongside visiting artists.
