# Indoor Activities for Rainy Days in Bozeman

While we all agree that Bozeman's real magic lies in the great outdoors, there's no need to fret over an occasional rainy day. The town is full of fun things to do indoors, especially during fall and spring when rain is more common. If you find yourself in Bozeman on a rainy day, make the best of it with one of these activities.
## Lookout Throwing Co.
Ever thrown an axe before? Here's your chance at [Lookout Throwing Co](https://www.lookoutmontana.com/). An axe coach will teach you how to throw with the proper technique, then assign you a lane so you can start aiming and throwing at the targets. Walk in or book lanes online for larger groups and start bringing out your inner lumberjack!
## [Museum of the Rockies](https://www.museumoftherockies.org/)
If you love dinosaurs and paleontology, the [Museum of the Rockies](https://www.museumoftherockies.org/) is a must-visit. The leading exhibitions rotate from around the world, so there's always something new and interesting to see. The Siebel Dinosaur Complex has one of the largest collections of dinosaur bones from around the world. The interactive Explore Yellowstone Country exhibit teaches you about the history and geology of the area. The museum is open daily from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and face masks are recommended. Though not required, you can make a reservation online to secure your spot for the day.

Newly revamped, the [Montana Science Center](https://montanasciencecenter.org/) offers an educational environment that is so much fun for families with little ones. Each exhibit provides hands-on interaction such as Build It, a large-scale building kit with planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts, and rope. Or the Playground for the Mind, which focuses on gravity, velocity, and trajectory. There are even nutrition and fishing stations!

## Karaoke at Happy Box
[Happy Box](https://happyboxbzn.com/) in downtown Bozeman is the perfect place to practice your performance skills to your favorite songs. With two private sound-proof karaoke suites, you can sing along to timeless bops without having to face a room of strangers. Plus, you can nibble on Asian street food and sip innovative cocktails while you support the other brave souls who are belting their hearts out.

The indoor facility has a large pool with several smaller pools, including the hottest and coldest side-by-side, so that you can go back and forth. There's also a steam room and dry sauna that are lovely.
